The DMI Program at SUNY Downstate is a CAAHEP accredited sonography program, that has a legacy of over 50 years of success in ultrasound education. We are currently recruiting for a part time clinical assistant professor to join our dedicated team. Duration: Full-time
Salary: Commensurate with experience & qualifications

Responsibilities: The Clinical Assistant Professor will
- serve as a part-time faculty member providing classroom/lab instruction for assigned courses as part of the CAAHEP curriculum
- assess student earnings and skills, provide academic advisement, contribute to student recruitment, and perform college service
- faculty are expected to maintain ARDMS credentials and clinical experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US College/University, and must have graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Clinical experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, and strong organizational skills. RDMS and/or RDCS certified. Preferred: Master's degree, RVT, teaching experience.
