Clinical Development Specialist
The Clinical Development Scientist for the Sleep & Respiratory Care business analyzes clinical trial protocols and studies to ensure regulatory compliance, crafts comprehensive evaluation and study reports, and troubleshoots complex data issues with strong attention to integrity and standards. The role contributes strategic, evidence-based insights for decision-making, supports business and regulatory alignment, and fosters innovation and key stakeholder relationships in clinical research.
Your role:
- Analyzes clinical trial protocols and data to ensure regulatory compliance, strategic alignment, and protocol optimization.
- Develops and authors comprehensive clinical evaluation reports, study reports, and regulatory submission materials using advanced software and adhering to industry standards.
- Troubleshoots and ensures integrity, accuracy, and consistency of clinical data and study findings.
- Conducts literature reviews and evidence generation to support new product introductions and lifecycle management, presenting insights to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborates with key opinion leaders and colleagues to design studies, facilitate robust data generation, and communicate findings to inform business and scientific advancement.
You're the right fit if:
- You've acquired 2+ years of experience in clinical research (medical device strongly preferred) with a bachelor's degree or higher. You have experience authoring clinical development protocols independently. Knowledge of and familiarity with EUMDR and ISO 14155 required.
- Your skills include strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and guidance's; strong attention detail, and ability to hold firm with your convictions relative to patient safety related recommendations.
- You have a bachelor's degree or higher.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
- You have a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, have strong communication skills, and are adaptable to flex as urgency for business needs change over time.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This is an office-based role.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $101,250 to $162,000.
The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $106,313 to $170,100.
The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA, Cambridge, MA and San Diego, CA is $113,400 to $181,440.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to posted locations.
