Clinical Manager (Full-Time)Clinical Manager (Full-Time) Job Title: Clinical Manager Location: Remote with occasional in-person meetings; candidates must reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Connecticut. Position Type: Full-Time This position requires flexibility to work shifts evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays and some daytime hours for supervision and administrative responsibilities. Summary of position: The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy. The Massachusetts Child Abuse Emergency Line (Emergency Line), operated by The Baker Center for Children and Families (The Baker Center), on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF), is a statewide emergency response system dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of children from abuse and neglect across the Commonwealth. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, the Emergency Line provides critical services, responding to more than 70,000 calls each year. Clinical Managers are and are responsible for clinical decision-making at the Child Abuse Emergency Line 24/7, 365 days/year. As members of the Emergency Line's Leadership Team, Clinical Manager's ensure optimal decision-making that aligns with Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF)policies and procedures and provide clinical consultation throughout the program. Clinical Managers supervise the program's Supervisors and are responsible for ensuring a high level of performance from Supervisors and Telephone Screeners. The Clinical Managers also work collaboratively with the Training Manager and Quality Improvement Manager, carrying out quality assurance coaching and training activities. What's in it for me?

- Responsible for clinical decision-making throughout the program, serving as subject-matter-experts on the program's Leadership Team.
- Collaborates on development of policies and procedures.
- Primary responsibility for shift management and conducting clinical shift review on shift, working four shifts per week.
- Monitors performance measures and collaborates on consequent quality improvement activities.
- Conducts call-monitoring and report-audit activities.
- Provides direct-report staff with instruction, support, and feedback on performance with a focus on personnel development.
- Creates and delivers training in clinically-related subjects.
- Provides crisis management, debriefing and de-escalation on and off-shift as needed.
- Master's degree in social work or related field is required.
- Massachusetts' Social Work Licensure (any level- LSW, LSWA, LCSW, LICSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor in good standing is required.
- 3+ years of experience in child welfare or behavioral health crisis services.
- 2+ years supervisory experience.'
- Experience leading or managing in-crisis situations.
- Understanding of DCF' mission, values, and priority population.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word.
