Veterinary Clinical Pathology Combined Residency and Graduate Training (MS)
The Department of Biomedical Sciences and Pathobiology (DBSP) at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech, invites applications for a combined residency and graduate program (three-year M.S. or five-year Ph.D.) in Veterinary Clinical Pathology, starting approximately July 15, 2026.
This program is designed to meet the eligibility requirements for board certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). Residents will receive comprehensive training in hematology, cytology, clinical chemistry, laboratory quality assurance, and related diagnostics, guided by three board-certified clinical pathologists and supported by fellow residents.
Position Details:
· Salary: Approximately $48,000/year
· Tuition: Full tuition support provided
· Deadline: For full consideration, please submit your application by April 15, 2026. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is identified.

Eligibility Requirements:
· DVM or equivalent degree
· U.S. citizenship or legal U.S. residency
· Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in clinical pathology
