In this role, you will serve as the integral part within PAE's Individual Giving, Health Sciences department, reporting to the Asst. VC, Development and PG, HS.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects affiliated with the School of Public Health, with an annual goal of 120 substantive contacts and $1 million raised.
Develop and implement individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to advance donor relationships and meet fundraising goals.
Collaborate closely with the School's Dean and faculty leadership to identify fundraising priorities and align donor engagement strategies accordingly.
Represent the School at events, meetings, and donor visits, requiring regular travel to engage constituents and achieve performance metrics.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce Affinaquest to track donor activity, manage data, and generate reports.
Participate in School-related events and university-wide development initiatives to enhance donor engagement and visibility.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion while working with high-level stakeholders and confidential information.

Job Summary
Oversees development of a program, plans, and activities to create and execute a comprehensive development plan achieving new and recurring contributions to a school, foundation, program, and/or group. Manages a portfolio of major gift donors and strategically builds fundraising prospects. Assists leadership in facilitating a comprehensive communications plan and with development strategies.
Essential Functions
- Maintains a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects for the School of Public Health; responsible for achieving 120+ substantive contacts and securing $1M+ in annual commitments.
- Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards individual prospects, including planned giving opportunities, through strategic outreach and in-person visits.
- Collaborates with the Dean and faculty to define fundraising priorities and develop targeted strategies that align with institutional goals.
- Develops and presents compelling major gift proposals; ensures timely and meaningful donor recognition in alignment with University values.
- Assists in creating and executing a comprehensive communications plan to promote the School's mission, vision, and funding priorities to key audiences.
- Supports the planning and implementation of short- and long-term development and alumni engagement strategies, including corporate and foundation outreach.
- Utilizes Microsoft Office and Salesforce Affinaquest to manage donor data, track activity, and generate reports.
- Serves as a strategic advisor to School leadership on fundraising initiatives and alumni relations.
Physical Effort
Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Additional details about Required Licensure/Certification: - Driver's License - Some fundraising experience, sales could help supplement for years of experience. Experience in CFR would be great. Closure of major gifts. - Travel Required: Will be assigned a portfolio and expected to reach around 120 substantive contacts - will be pro-rated for first year, of course. Travel is as much as they need to conduct in order to meet that metric and based on composition of their portfolio.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Combination of On-Campus and Remote work as determined by the department.
Hiring Range: $86,000 - $115,000 Annually
