MercyOne Occupational Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Occupational Health team in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday schedule
• 8-hour shifts with occasional 9-hour shifts
• No call
• No nights
• No weekends
• No holidays
• Average patient volume of 10-20 patients per day
• Collaborative, team-based practice environment

Practice Overview

The majority of your practice will focus on Occupational Health, with occasional Family Medicine coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Work-related injury evaluations and follow-up care
• DOT physicals
• Pre-employment and surveillance physicals
• Police and Fire physicals
• Wound and burn care
• Suturing and minor procedures
• History and physical examinations

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Eligible for Iowa licensure
• Ability to care for patients of all ages
• Occupational Health experience preferred but not required
• DOT Medical Examiner Certification preferred and required upon hire if not already obtained
