- Parttime/locum with interest in clinical Pilates
Description
We are seeking a motivated and personable Physiotherapist to join our growing practice in a part-time role, with the opportunity for locum work or ongoing employment depending on your availability and interest.
About the Role
The caseload is primarily focused on teaching Clinical Pilates, with a mix of reformer classes (small groups of up to 3 clients) and 1:1 sessions. There will also be the opportunity to treat musculoskeletal physiotherapy clients.
We welcome applications from physiotherapists with an interest in movement-based rehabilitation, and pelvic floor physiotherapists are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Clinical Pilates sessions (small group reformer classes and individual sessions)
Assess, treat, and manage musculoskeletal physiotherapy clients
Develop individualised exercise programs to support rehabilitation and injury prevention
Maintain accurate clinical notes and communicate effectively with clients
Work collaboratively within a supportive clinical environment
Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
Experience or strong interest in Clinical Pilates and exercise-based rehabilitation
Ability to confidently teach Reformer Pilates sessions (small groups and 1:1) or willingness to learn
Experience treating musculoskeletal conditions and developing rehabilitation programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload
Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centred care
Reliable, organised, and able to maintain accurate clinical documentation
Interest or experience in pelvic floor physiotherapy is highly regarded but not essential
Willingness to work part-time hours, with potential for locum or ongoing employment
