*JOB SUMMARY* The Vice President of Clinical Innovation serves as an executive clinical leader for Levanto, a digital health product affiliated with BSWH. This leader plays a pivotal role in scaling digitally-enabled clinical services for employer populations, driving change within BSWH, ensuring clinical and operational excellence, aligning with best practices, and sustaining credibility in the market. The VP will bridge clinical expertise and product development, ensuring that digital solutions are evidence-based, clinically credible, and designed to improve outcomes while optimizing efficiency and access. The VP of Clinical Innovation acts as the bridge between clinical expertise and product innovation, leveraging BSWH's depth of clinical excellence while driving creative, technology-enabled care models. A system Vice President (VP) develops strategy and business plans for one or more business units or functional areas. Business unit or area may include a level of smaller entity vice presidents (e.g., small hospitals, clinics, etc.). Leads strategy development and execution, identifies resourcing needs, and provides guidance for significant tactical decisions. Focuses on current-year operations and participates in establishing multi-year strategies and business plans. Erroneous decisions at this level tend to have a long-term negative effect on the success of the organization. Leads and directs a large division, multiple departments, or a single business unit. Typically directs multiple levels of subordinate vice presidents (entity/region), directors, and/or managers covering varied disciplines and skill levels. Has managerial accountability for staffing and budgets for a large span of control (at least 2 directors/managers) or is over a critical but small staff function. Exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Responsible for executing a portion of the business strategy. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE* 1. Collaborate with Product Leads to embed clinical best practices and evidence-based standards into product design and development, ensuring solutions are both clinically sound and operationally feasible. 2. Lead change management efforts among clinical peers to help Levanto translate BSWH's decades of clinical excellence into scalable, digitally enabled care models that advance quality, efficiency, and patient experience. 3. Drive the development of Levanto products that combine meaningful clinical innovation with practical application, aligning technology and care delivery to achieve Levanto's mission and strategic objectives. 4. Bridge the gap between Product and Clinical by sourcing expertise from within BSWH (and externally, if needed) 5. Ensure sufficient supply to meet customer demand in Texas and beyond by partnering with internal clinical subject matter experts and Product Leads • Provide credibility in the market, in sales meetings, and in thought leadership (e.g., white papers, blog posts, research) to aid with Commercial efforts • Define and execute a clinical innovation strategy that supports BSWH's digital health priorities and Levanto's growth. *KEY SUCCESS FACTORS* 1. MD required and MBA, MPH, or MHA preferred. 2. Proven success in scaling digitally enabled and technology-supported clinical programs, driving measurable improvements in care delivery, efficiency, and patient outcomes. 3. Experience in digital health and employer sales, effectively translating clinical innovation into market-facing solutions that meet the needs of employer populations and health system partners. 4. Deep understanding of clinical operations, workflow design, and evidence-based care. 5. Proven success in effectively navigating large, complex, cross-functional organizations. 6.
