Description

Provide inpatient infectious disease consults and follow-up care with coverage focused primarily on weekends. This opportunity offers predictable daytime shifts with light overnight call volume.

Practice & Cases

• Provide inpatient infectious disease consults and follow-up care
• Manage a daily census of approximately 25-35 patients
• Average 6-10 new consults per day
• Advanced practice provider support available Monday through Friday

Schedule

• Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Coverage is primarily Friday through Sunday with select full-week assignments
• Overnight call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on covered days
• Typical overnight call volume of 0-2 calls

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Infectious Disease or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Vaccination required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
• Travel arrangements are coordinated for covered assignments
