The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry invites applications for one full-time non-tenure track position with an 11-month appointment beginning Fall semester of 2026. Applicants will be considered for the title of Clinical Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical activity, supervising patient care, participating in undergraduate didactic and clinical teaching, evaluation of dental students' professionalism, clinical progress, and performance, as well as counseling students regularly. Interested individuals should have a strong commitment to teaching and service. The opportunity for extramural private practice is available.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree (e.g BDS) from a U.S. or recognized dental school.
- Advanced education certificate in prosthodontics from a U.S. or foreign equivalent accredited dental school.
- Completion of a Master's of Science in Dentistry degree.
- Be eligible for licensure in Texas.
- Candidate should have experience in all fields of general dentistry.
- At least three (3) years of experience teaching in an academic setting
- At least three (3) years of experience with current dental digital technologies.
All final candidates will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check prior to beginning employment.
