- BMT-CT Clinical Fellowship
Description
Stanford University’s Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT-CT) announces the opening of a one-year clinical Fellowship beginning July 1, 2027. This fellowship provides clinical and investigative training in adult hematopoietic cell transplantation including autologous and allogeneic (related and unrelated) procedures, as well as alternative donors (haploidentical, and umbilical cord blood), and novel cellular cancer therapies such as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cells. Fellows participate in clinical care provided in inpatient and outpatient settings, and clinical or basic research. Fellows are encouraged to become integrated into a mentored clinical research project, where they will gain experience in data analysis and manuscript writing and submission. Within its NCI-designated Stanford Cancer Institute, the Stanford BMT Program offers outstanding opportunities for collaborative and basic research, and an active clinical trials program.
Since 1987 Stanford BMT-CT has performed over 10,000 transplants and other cellular therapies. We have 21 active faculty members in the Division. Our facilities include a dedicated GMP-approved cell processing facility, 3 dedicated inpatient units, and an outpatient clinical cancer center which houses the infusion treatment area, apheresis unit and BMT Clinic. The Stanford BMT Program is accredited by the Foundation for Cellular Therapeutics (FACT) and the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP).
