Location: Department of Emergency Medicine, Bundaberg Hospital (other positions at Hervey Bay and Maryborough may be also filled through this recruitment process)
Remuneration:
We are offering a competitive remuneration package value up to $687,491 p.a., including salary between $225,305 - $284,318 p.a., generous employer superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, clinical managers allowance, salary sacrifice perks, and flexible rostering for optimal work/life balance.

Your opportunity:
- The Clinical Director Emergency Medicine will provide strategic, operational and professional leadership to the ED team, supporting the delivery of high quality clinical services within the Department of Emergency Medicine.
- The role is supported by two Deputy Directors (Clinical Governance and Workforce) and reports operationally to the Executive Director, Bundaberg Hospital and Rural Facilities, and professionally to the Director of Medical Services (Bundaberg) and Executive Director of Medical Services (Wide Bay HHS). You will also be supported by an experienced and committed Wide Bay Executive team, focused on whole-of-organisation reform, including initiatives to enhance patient flow and in-patient bed access.
- All Emergency Department medical staff, including Senior Medical Officers, Visiting Medical Officer and Resident Medical Officers report to the Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine.
