As a Massage Therapist at Massage Art Studio, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality relaxing and clinical massage therapy services to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Provide Exceptional Massage Treatments:

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to the client’s needs, such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and more.
Maintain a thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology to ensure safe and effective massage therapy sessions.
2. Client Assessment and Communication:

Conduct thorough client assessments and consultations to determine specific needs and preferences.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain the benefits of different massage modalities and answer their questions.
3. Maintain a Clean and Comfortable Environment:

Ensure that the massage therapy room is clean, organized, and properly equipped with necessary supplies.
Create a soothing and inviting atmosphere for clients, including appropriate lighting, music, and aromatherapy.

4. Client Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including S.O.A.P. notes, health history, and session details.
5. Uphold Professional Standards:

Adhere to all state and local regulations governing the practice of massage therapy.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
6. Continued Learning and Development:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and attend relevant workshops or training to enhance your skills.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Meet all required pre-requisite documentation and training.
Qualifications:

State licensure and certification as a Massage Therapist.
Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to client care and well-being.
Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Maintain Liability Insurance meeting State of Georgia standards and guidelines.
