Description
Join a Practice Where You Can Grow, Belong, and Build the Career You Envision
At Valiant Minds Counseling, we believe exceptional therapy begins with clinicians who feel supported, respected, and empowered to do their best work. We are a growing outpatient group practice serving the Pittsburgh community with a commitment to compassionate, individualized, evidence-based mental health care.
Our philosophy is grounded in resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment, values that guide not only how we care for our clients, but also how we support the clinicians who choose to grow their careers with us. Our team brings diverse clinical interests, therapeutic approaches, personalities, and areas of expertise while sharing a commitment to thoughtful, ethical, and high-quality care.
We are proud that this commitment has been recognized within our community. In 2025, Valiant Minds Counseling was recognized as the #2 Psychotherapy Practice in Pittsburgh by BusinessRate®, based on Google Reviews and client feedback. While recognition is meaningful, what matters most to us is what it represents: the trust our clients place in our clinicians and the quality of the therapeutic relationships our team works to create every day.
Valiant Minds has developed particular expertise in ADHD, executive functioning, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and related concerns, but we don't expect every therapist who joins us to practice the same way or serve the same population.
We want you to grow into the therapist you want to become.
As part of Valiant Minds, you'll have the freedom to develop your own clinical identity, therapeutic style, preferred populations, specialties, and areas of expertise. Whether your passion is working with adults, children and adolescents, couples, families, trauma, anxiety, neurodivergence, relationships, or an area you hope to develop further, we want to provide the support and infrastructure that allow you to build a meaningful and sustainable clinical practice.
Our goal is to offer the best of both worlds: the autonomy and earning potential of private practice with the connection, resources, referrals, administrative support, and professional community of an established group practice.
You won't have to build your practice alone. Valiant Minds provides credentialing support, billing and insurance management, marketing, ongoing client referrals, furnished office space, clinical consultation, shared professional resources, and direct access to practice leadership, allowing you to devote more of your time and energy to your clients and your growth as a clinician.
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, motivated, and collaborative mental health therapists who care deeply about their clients and want more than simply a place to see appointments. We want clinicians who are interested in establishing themselves professionally, contributing their unique strengths to our team, collaborating with colleagues, and continuing to evolve throughout their careers.
Whether you are an established clinician bringing years of experience or a developing therapist building your professional identity, our goal is to create an environment where you can practice with autonomy while still having connection, consultation, mentorship, and support when you need it.
If you're looking for a practice where you can provide meaningful care, develop a caseload that reflects your interests, and build a professional identity that feels authentically yours, we invite you to grow with Valiant Minds Counseling.
