THE OPPORTUNITY
Where clinical excellence meets genuine career growth
Optimum Health & Performance is a physiotherapy-led multidisciplinary clinic on the Central Coast with a well-earned reputation for measurable patient outcomes and a culture that takes professional development seriously. We are growing — and we are looking for a senior clinician who wants to do more than fill a caseload.
This role is for a physiotherapist who leads from within: someone who holds themselves to high standards, takes pride in patient outcomes, and is excited to help shape the clinical culture of a high-performance practice.
WHO YOU ARE
You’re the clinician others look up to
You’ve built your skills in private practice and you understand what it means to deliver a consistent, structured patient experience — from the first assessment to discharge and beyond. You track your outcomes. You think about retention. You communicate clearly, with patients and with colleagues alike.
You’re ready to step into a role with clinical leadership responsibilities — mentoring junior staff, contributing to team development sessions, and setting the standard for what great care looks like.
Key attributes:
Patient-centred - Outcomes-focused - Accountable - Evidence-based - Collaborative - Growth-minded - Coachable - Proactive - Reliable - Confident communicator
THE ROLE
Clinical care + clinical leadership
Manage a diverse private practice caseload delivering musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, with a strong emphasis on structured rehabilitation progressions and measurable functional outcomes.
Take ownership of your KPIs: patient retention, rebooking rates, outcome scores, and discharge quality. We expect high standards and provide the tools and mentoring to reach them.
Lead and contribute to fortnightly small-group professional development sessions. Play an active mentoring role with junior clinicians — helping them build clinical reasoning and communication skills.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including exercise scientists, exercise physiologists, Pilates instructors, and remedial massage therapists to deliver integrated care. Utilise state-of-the-art technology — VALD, AxIT, ActivForce, Game Ready, Normatec, blood flow restriction, Blazepods — to enhance assessment quality and patient outcomes.
